About me
I come from a small border town called Douglas, Arizona. When I was growing up I was never good at athletics or learning musical instruments. But one trait that stood out from all others was my imagination. As a growing child my mind was always filled with ideas and one of the ways I would bring them to life was with my Legos. But as I got older I wanted to try different ways of bringing my ideas to life in anyway possible. And a friend of mine suggested that I should try to get into photography. I would spend a lot of time practicing with him and found it to be fun. So I decided to get myself a Canon Rebel T6i with a beginners kit. And over time I became better and better at my work. And one of the questions I'm asked most often is "What kind of photographer am I?" or "What kind of photography do you do?" and I usually don't know how to answer those questions because I don't stick to one specific type, I like to just take pictures of whatever I like or enjoy. Because when I do photography it's more than just a hobby, it's a passion. It's a way for me to bring my imagination to life which has always been my dream. In a way, it makes my reality a bit more brighter and fun and it makes me happy to be able to do that sort of thing. And to be able to share my work with the world can be pretty intimidating. Especially with so many amazing photographers out there. And it's in those moments when I feel that intimidation that I need to remind myself that I'm not in any race or competition. And I'll never work to meet anyone's expectations. I'll do what I do because it's what makes me happy and that's what matters. And if I can make other people happy along the way, that's just a bonus for being who I am.
